We’ll work with you every step of the way
Whether you’re 7 or 77 years old, our goal at Dental Care Orthodontics is to give you a healthy, straight, and beautiful smile. We use the latest technology with a variety of safe and gentle treatment options to give you the individualized care you deserve.
Choosing to receive orthodontic care is a big decision so we want to make it as easy as possible for you or your child – We’ll work with you every step of the way to make sure that you get what you want and need from your orthodontic care and that you feel comfortable with us, your treatment and are informed about the process.
Every beautiful smile starts with an initial visit! To get off to a good start we are going to ask lots of questions so we can better understand your concerns and goals. Then we’ll do a short oral exam to see if orthodontic treatment is right for you. If you haven’t scheduled your free consultation yet and would like to do so now please click here to request one.
If orthodontics is right for you, the next step is to come up with treatment options that best meet your individual needs. Our board-certified orthodontists will review your dental and medical history and do a complete oral exam with X-rays and molds of your teeth so that we can study your situation in depth and create a custom treatment plan.
Once your doctor has determined the best course of treatment for you we’ll go over all of the treatment options that are available to you, the details of those treatments as well as financial information so that you can make the best decision for yourself or your child.
The day that you get your braces (or another orthodontic appliance) is the day that your treatment actually starts. We’ll explain everything there is to know about what actually happens the day you start treatment and how to take proper care of your teeth and your new appliances.
Visiting us every three to four weeks for adjustments of your orthodontic appliances is critical to ensuring that your teeth are moving along like they are supposed to.
Our team will work with you to make sure that your appointments are as convenient as possible. We understand that “life happens”. If you’re running late or need to reschedule just let us know and we’ll do everything we can to accommodate you.
It’s very important that you continue to visit your family dentist once every three to six months for cleanings and routine checkups to make sure that your teeth and gums stay healthy.
Adult dentists and hygienists in Dental Care of Stamford and pediatric dentists in Dental Care Kids are just steps away so both check ups / cleanings and orthodontic adjustment visits can be scheduled the same day to save you time and effort!
